Tell the Senate: Don't weaponize our faith to suppress votes

Contact your Senators today and tell them that all people have the right to vote.

The SAVE Act is a voter suppression bill that would upend voter registration and disenfranchise millions of eligible voters. The bill would require citizens to show a passport or birth certificate that matches their current name exactly -- documents that an estimated 21 million Americans lack access to.

Married women, around 69 million of them, who took their partner's names, will also find it harder to vote.

This is not an oversight -- it's intentional. A strict hierarchical, authoritarian society is a core tenet of Christian Nationalism and Project 2025 -- one where children obey parents, workers obey bosses, congregants obey their pastors, and women obey men.

For years, Christian Nationalists have advocated for a head-of-household vote, which is a very real result of the SAVE Act should it pass.
